Disco Debut

Ordinary Lifestyles hosted it’s first disco on Saturday 25th September 2021!! As with just about everything else COVID had an impact on lots of social activities that lots of our friends attended.  This was the case with some discos which used to take place monthly in the south side of the city.

To combat this our very own Andy, along with some others, transferred his Bingo Tuesday night tune playing to reality and arranged the organisation’s first venture into disco hosting.  In order to comply with social distancing and keeping attendees safe only a select few were invited to dust off their dancing shoes and boogie on down at a church hall in Broadheath.

With DJ Doddy on the decks the event was a resounding success and plans are afoot to widen the event, safely and gradually, to the wider community.  Those in attendance on Saturday also took part in choosing the name for future events…..the name chosen was…… Oops…sorry, no can do….you’ll just have to stay tuned for further info!
